Seaweed is becoming more widely known as one of the planet’s superfoods due to its high concentration of vitamins and minerals. It has been used for millennia by coastal inhabitants as a nutritional, easily accessible and sustainable food source. Many of these coastal inhabitants also use it as fertilizer. It’s collected from the shore line and dug into the soil in which they then grow their fruit and vegetables. Those valuable nutrients then pass into the crop and get ingested when that crop is eaten.

The seaweed used in Neptune’s Yard has been through a fermentation process where it develops its ground breaking final formula. 

Neptune’s Yard Fermented Seaweed is sustainably farmed by locals off the coasts of Indonesia in one of the freshest cleanest environments in the world. This is to ensure the seaweed that is used is of the highest quality it can possibly be. 

Scientists work closely with the local communities to discover the strongest and healthiest strains of the red seaweed (Kappaphycus Alvarezii). Once the best strains are identified, the farmers are informed so they can go ahead and start producing it in their sustainable off-shore farms. 

Once the seaweed reaches the right age it is then returned to the scientists and put through the fermentation process. It is then sealed and shipped off over to us here in the UK for distribution.

Neptune's Yard Feeding Guide:

The suggested amount is 2% of your dog’s food weight per day.

I.e. Use 1 scoop (5g) per 250g of food daily, and simply sprinkle on to the food.

There is 80 scoops in each tub meaning that if you have 10kg to 15kg dog the tub will last around 2.5 months.
