Before raw pet food was as popular as it is today, our founder researched & studied the best diet for her family pet’s. Fred (Fred's Story) the family boxer dog had been struck with cancer & in wanting the very best for him Nettie went on a journey to do the very best for him. She didn’t think that his diet of kibble was helping him much & began to research Pet Food ingredients, the anatomy of Pet’s & also their natural habitats of the wild. It was a these studies that supported the argument that many Comercial pet food manufactures are using ingredients that are not essential. From this new found belief Nurturing by Nature was founded, Fred was fed his first, hand made, raw meal & the rest they say is history. It was like a wonder diet, Fred & the family pet’s became visibly healthier, Nettie just knew that she had to get this raw diet delivered to more like minded Pet owners & the first delivery round began. The best raw diet was made in the family kitchen & then delivered throughout, Ringwood, Christchurch, Bournemouth & Poole. A delivery round with years of experiance.
These values & mission still remain today but in 2004 founded Nurturing by Nature’s very first delivery round. Providing our very best raw diet & delivering this to our community through exceptional customer service.
Today we are visually a very different business, we have grown from the family kitchen however we remain closely tied to our humble beginnings. From processing a few kg of food when needed, we now process millions of tones each year, proudly feeding a community that cover the whole of the UK thanks to our next day delivery service.
