Our mission is not to preach we wish only to inform. Raw Pet Food is a Pet food choice that we believe in, a choice that became a lifestyle choice & now the centre of an ever growing loyal Raw Feeding community . A journey we started after our own personal Pet food journey, one of research, a more holistic way of thinking & then ultimately a life changing cancer diagnosis with our beloved Boxer dog Fred. It was this cancer diagnosis that was the point at which our founder Nettie, new that she had to make a dietary change for Fred & provide him with the very best opportunity to survive. 

Fred didn’t know what to make of it at first, in-fact Nettie shares the tale of his first meal here in this video. However after his first meal, he quickly gained a whole new energy for life, the rest they say is history. Nurturing by Nature’s history in fact. Fred recovered from caner, enjoyed life & liked every bowl clean over & over again. Fred’s new diet became Nurturing by Nature, the kitchen became a production facility & Nettie em-barked on a journey to share this new wonder diet with all. The positive difference she had witnessed in front of her own eyes needed to be shared with as many people as possible. Once processed in the Kitchen, meals were frozen in the freezers, in the kitchen, in the shed, in the garage & even friends & families freezers too. Once frozen down & the days production done, the delivery round started. 

This was the humble beginnings of Nurturing by Nature, Dorset’s original Raw Pet Food Manufacturer. From the research of text books, advice from the vet. Nettie proudly can be accredited to being a pioneer for a Raw Pet Food movement. Since the journey began Nurturing by Nature has since grown in size with physical retail stores & a next day delivery service nationwide. 

Having established a raw Pet Food Feeding community largely through word of mouth it is testament to the pet owners who have shared their very own positive Raw Pet Food Stories. Supporting the confidence in a natural pet food that in most recent years been described as a fad.
